jajolt
hmm I guess we can try uninstalling it and reinstall it sudo apt-get remove libglib2.0-bin sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-bin not sure if this works as i don't have an ubuntu machine to test it out (I run Fedora instead) Did this and rebooted and now Ubuntu won't boot in, it's stuck on the loading screen... enigma#
oh gawd lol hmm any error messages in your session logs try safe mode too while you're at it To start Ubuntu into safe mode (Recovery Mode) hold down the left Shift key as the computer starts to boot. If holding the Shift key doesn't display the menu press the Esc key repeatedly to display the GRUB 2 menu. From there you can choose the recovery option. Don't know how to get to the var/log thing lol And no with recovery mode, just repeats the cache thing and how it's trying to fix it. Had a MyFi plugged in for charging but it also recognized it as a wired in connection, unplugged and restarted, still stuck...
