Demented_Yeknom
Hey guys, tonight was my first try at making something in Photoshop. I'm a film major but I've never took the time to tinker with the program even though i have it. So i'd like some advice about what i could do better in the future from this finished project. Also, post your first creation if you still have it. Or just some work from when you first learned how to use Ps. Thanks guise.
StyleeZy
You ruined the quality of the 2nd half of the skull (I'm assuming you dragged small - > large). The yellow "|" feels out of place and it doesnt really took like you took too much time doing this. Keep at it though.
Demented_Yeknom
haha actually took me a few hours. I've never used a program like it so i had to tinker a bit to get the different tools and hotkeys down. Which half of the skull? The monkey or the actual skull? What color should i change the "|" to? Thanks for the input man, i'm working on it. Gotta be able to design my own title screens.
StyleeZy
the | looks brighter then the rest, tone down the opacity, and the skull is just a really bad resolution/you stretched it
Demented_Yeknom
so i should find a larger image to replace that? also having some conflict with the dividing line between the skull and the monkey's face. What do you think i should do there?
StyleeZy
As for making the two skulls seem merged, overlap them then soft erase it. It just has bad quality because you took a small image and made it larger, which technology current says no to.
