Roookie
Tips on aiming better on CS:GO? Quote Link to comment
ƒµ└└ Γe┼┌o
For me personally, I found that finding the perfect sensitivity as well as practicing on deathmatch servers really helped with my aim. For the sensitivity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhdT_yVdVgs Quote Link to comment

Dode
I believe I'm pretty good at aiming on CS:GO so my tip is to first point at the target then after you must click 1 Quote Link to comment
Poohunter
Start small. Stand still and aim for the head on a target while neither of you are moving. Then let the target move a bit and try to get headshots. Then start strafing and trying to get a headshot on the target (don't try to shoot while running unless you're up close, otherwise you'll be extremely inaccurate. Really, practice on deathmatch and focus on getting headshots the most, those are what matters. Quote Link to comment

Magic
One tip I find is to burst. A lot of the time spraying just doesn't work for me. Quote Link to comment
Kingpolo
One tip I find is to burst. A lot of the time spraying just doesn't work for me. In CS:GO spraying will absolutely not work. I need to improve with the AK major, and just aiming at the head in general. Quote Link to comment

Dark
Aiming is one of the most inconsistent things we can control on day to day bases. What it all just goes down to is this. Finding a good dpi/ingame sensitivity, that is good for you. Finding a sensitivity that is right for you is the hardest part, it all comes down to what type of person you are when you move the mouse, arm or wrist player. Wrist players play on high sensitivity because it helps them control there mouse better. Arm players play on lower sensitivity because they move there whole arm. To know more or less what kind of player you are, you have to play in death match, a lot, or play in aim maps. (Example: Aim_ag_texture2, aim_ag_texture_city, etc.) Only problem with that is there are no aim maps in the community servers in cs go... which leads you stuck to death matching, aim training map, and actually playing competitive from time to time when ever you feel ready/up for it. Just remember try not to move your crosshair around so much up, and down, always keep it head leveled. (This is where aim texture maps come into play, to be more specific, aim_ag_texture2 .) But nonetheless death match is a good alternative. Keep in mind. Even though your aim maybe bad one day, doesn't mean that it's going to continue to be bad. Everyone has there off days. Hope you find this helpful, and good luck. Edited August 21, 2013 by Dark Quote Link to comment
