I work at Advance Auto Parts - Auto parts store. Heres the story. Guy comes in acting gangster as fuck. Hes acting sketch to. Reaching behind his back like hes got somthing. I've seen plenty police vides and shit to realize wtf hes doin. Well he starts askin for an Exuast Man. Gasket. I say we have one b/c the computer says we've got one. I go to get it. It's not there. I tell him its not and I told him to give me a few min. and I will go around and see if its not in the truck stock. I come back and tell him its not. He starts callin me a lier and tellin me I'm just a kid and don't know what I'm doing. I just ignore him. I tell his friends that they could try to make there own gasket out of the material for it. They agree and I then tell them I will call auto zone (a competitor) and see if they got it. Auto zone calls us to, its just friendly competition. Well they don't so then they start to go and get everything they need. The one guy acting gangster as fuck starts actin sketch again. Lookin at me to make sure I'm not looking, like hes trying to steal somthing. So I follow, asking questions to act like I'm trying t help. We'll they say they need to rent a breaker bar, which we don't loan out. I tell him he could either use metal pipe and a ratchet or buy one, its $35 bucks for one. They say they will buy it. Then the gangster guy starts sayin hes gonna use it and bring it back. I tell him no, he can't do that. He then starts saying he will just clean it and keep the plastic on it. I tell him that I will personaly come by in the morning before we open just to tell the manager not to accept it and to keep the ticket. He says what ever and goes about. Well I put notes up and I'm going to call tommarow. What do you think? Did I handle it ok?
