QF_Epiczzz
I was wondering if we can have TV's that actually work, and we'd have to buy a remote or something in order to use them. I was thinking these tv's would work like they do in gmtower. They'd stream youtube videos for the people in the property to watch/listen to. It seems like a good idea to me, and it would be a good addition. What do you guys think?
Rizon
I would agree with this as well. But issues with doing this in PERP would be all the streams lagging the server unless we are able to set it for cilent side.
Skurnicki
As awesome as that would be tv would be hard to do that's a lot of streaming, also if we to stream we would have to pay for the rights for any network (cable, national, or Internet tv) will get the server shut down and HG will owe quite a bit of money. And as for the free tv stations that broadcast via Internet we would need their permission aswell. We really aren't allowed to have the radio unless we have the stations permissions but they struggle for listeners anyways they won't care. Papa John
This has been suggested multiple times, I believe the general consensus is that it wouldn't work out.
bnlol1
Seems like a great idea, since Streaming youtube videos is free, except for the fact it would A. Put a lot of stress on the allready laggy server and B. Probably be noisy, radio is bad enough when theres 9 people lined up blasting KSFM, think of what itd be like if all the apts had gangnam style or some other annoykng video blasting out the walls
David Fattiehoff
The fact of the matter is not if its a good idea or not. Its how we will do it, if its possible, and if the advisers take time out of their works to do this. A lot of good ideas have been suggested, but the problem is the way they will have to code and the legal rights along with it so. +1 but I dont think its gonna work out
