Stay away from fdc servers.

Never buy a single damn thing from fdcservers.net. Their service is mediocre to begin with, but the worst part is they willingly harbor spambots and VPNs.

You can look over their very forums to see just some of it. Out of all the hosting companies I've dealt with, I've never met one (until I emailed fdcservers) that won't respond to abuse complaints, instead they forward your email to the owner of the IP you are complaining against.

Imagine this scenario:

You finally get home after a long day of work. As you pull into your driveway, you see some crazy person set your house on fire. Everything you own goes up in flames. You immediately call the police and report the arson. While you talk to them, they say absolutely nothing then hang up when you're done.

You don't hear anything at all from the police for a while. You send them letters, call them, they don't respond. You finally say fuck it and just buy a new house exactly a month later.

The day after you buy your house, you're coming home from work and the same crazy guy lights a match and engulfs your house in flames. This time, the police are sitting right across the street, looking at you and the guy setting your house on fire.

"What the hell guys, can you arrest this person?" you say.

"Well, we tracked him down the first time, and we told him that it's not nice to start fires, that he better not set any fires for the rest of the month," one of them responds.

"If you want to file a report against him, please come down to the police station. We will let him know that it's not nice to start fires, and that he can't set any fires for a month."

"So that mean he can just start fires once a month and not get in trouble?" you ask, exasperated.

"Pretty much. Also, if he uses a different lighter to start it, that doesn't count," the policeman informs you.

In a fit of rage unknown to you, you fly at the policeman, grabbing his gun in the ensuing struggle. You place the barrel against your throbbing temple. It's cool, metal finish is the last thing you note as you proceed to splay your brain matter across the sidewalk.

As the officers walk away from the scene, back to their car, one remarks, "I don't know why he got so upset. We make this a crime free place. We haven't had to put anyone in jail in years."

Welcome to the abuse department of fdcservers.
