Wingless
Necro thread ftw? It's all about the metalcore. Nothing can top All That Remains. The best thing about metalcore is that you only have to listen to one band. It's all pretty much the same from there.

Basically anything from any genre in which the bands are actually doing it for the music and not for the label/cash. nomg lamp i fucking love you, rage against the machines ftw! md.blur
Depends on where and what I'm doing. If it's with a lot of people or something, my town and me is mostly rap. But by myself and with some friends, I'm a biiig heavy metal fan, not Metallica shit, like Emmure for example. Techno definitely too haha, especially when you're high . Big song that we blare in my english class. aydY5c0V8NI Pretty much everything but country. Edited November 20, 2009 by md.blur

GRIZZLY
I don't listen to this person, but since I met him I follow what he has done. Benjamin Stanford, met him 2 years ago in Austrailia. Each song is different, if you listen to 25% of one and skip the rest no point in continuing to the next. I'm only pointing him out because I think it's unique. :danceban: and my favorite since I know you're ALL fruity :escalatorfail:
GRIZZLY
and you guys that say " I listen to everything but rap" don't have a well rounded personality in my book. My opinion the majority of rap is an experssion of a paticular ethnic group that needs/wants to be heard. Unfortunately music is more of an expression than poltics or Obama's song would be something like this so far he's playing it to a tee. You're the coolest grandpa ever  lol @ all the rap hate, there is plenty of good rap, just keep your radio off. I got to see him live and he does a great job keeping with hard techno and beats. Although Dub FX is also just as good. I like how they procedure their own beats and just loops it. That shows real talent and they are really good. Dub FX keeps it clean with the beats tho. Wingless
But by myself and with some friends, I'm a biiig heavy metal fan, not Metallica shit, like Emmure for example. As far as rap goes, the same concept applies to it as every other genre in that most mainstream music bastardizes it to the point where the original concept is completely lost. With that said, I respect the expression of ethnic groups through music, however, I do not respect glorification of a criminal lifestyle being played up as "expression of an ethnic group". Can you think of more than a handful of rap songs in the last few years that didn't deal with drugs, prostitution, theft or killing cops?
