Kalron
Can I find my motherboard brand and specs in DXDIAG information? I ran it a while back and I have the file saved but I don't want to waste my time searching for it if the information isn't in the file anyway. Executive Council imasonaz Posted November 4, 2013 Executive Council Share Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) enigma# didn't mention it, but his link is to CPU-Z, I would highly recommend it. Msinfo32 doesn't usually have very much. Edited November 4, 2013 by imasonaz
Kalron
Alright. SO I see the series of motherboard. ANd since I am such a noob, how can I figure out what max wattage I can take for a higher end GPU? I have a GT 630 and I would like a GTX 660 or higher. the 630 is kind of a boner-kill to me. I know I'll need a new PSU for this. the GT 630 is only 300 watts or something like that. But I don't know if I need to do some addition to that number because of other things. I don't know how computers draw power from the PSU. Would I need to figure out what the rest of my PC take to work and add that on top of my GPU cards power requirements or no? Sorry for being such a nub. I'm learning. Edited November 4, 2013 by Kalron
