It does and promotes objective based plays. Basically for every map there are different ways to win. For Example of one map there are 2 obelisks. The team that controls the two obelisks get to summon a character controllable dragon which is so powerful it is almost impossible to kill. The catch is that you can only control it for a limited amount of time before it dies. But, during that time you can use the dragon to push lanes and destroy gates and towers and give your team the edge. But then after the enemy captures of obelisk and they get the advantage.
