shooterx
Hello everyone! So i need some suggestions because i need a better screen lol. I mean, i probably have the most crappiest screen that anyone could ever have..... its like a 90's CRT monitor its old, its yellow, has broken speakers under the screen and its from dell lmfao... i know its crap.... but i wanted to know if anyone could suggest a upgrade within my budget cuz im a broke a*$ lol. maybe something within the 100 dollars range or less if possible. i mean my screen works and all but its just sooo old... sometimes i feel like it strains my eyes more... So yea thanks for any suggestions, links to sales are welcome and encouraged! Thanks! ShooterX

Sarcastic Lemon
Need some more info for me to recommend anything. How big do you want your monitor to be (19,23,27,ect) Does it have to have hdmi? How high do you want the refresh rate (standard is 60hz) Don't listen to sanic his website is shady as fuck. Sonick
How is it shady... Dealnews.com is a very very popular website... It links you to newegg when you click on it which shows the same exact thing... I wouldn't post something shady here... and it is Sonick not sanic. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16824236174
Frugly
Lemon is right. It is hard to assist you in picking the right monitor without the proper information. Along with the questions he asked it would really help in picking the right one for you if you can answer them to the best of your knowledge. Comfortable size for you? HDMI? Im guessing yes. Types of games you play? Regular resolution? Do you watch media on your PC? Type of GPU? Are extra's such as built-in speakers, outlets, usb, etc important to you? Price Budget? Newegg has great customer service and I've ordered from them countless times. They usually have the best prices. Website looks shady yo. Sonick
You don't order through that website... all that website does is research deals and post them on their site. No different than pricegrabber or any of those other deal finding sites. I ordered almost every part in my pc from newegg. Not sure how a website who's only purpose is to link you to other websites deals is shady but ok. I'll continue using it, like many millions of others do. Frugly
Man his comment really just didn't sit well with you did it? I have personally used that particular "outsource" website with no negative consequences. As far as system building never use anything besides pcpartpicker.com

BranHorse
Where are you located? If you are near a frys or microcenter you can get some good deals in there weekly ads. Your price range is about a 21 inch.
Frugly
Just hop on Craigslist man... Look in your area and surrounding area's. With that price range you could find a decent screen on there no problem.
Sonick
Walmart has a 19" LED for $69. I've never heard of the brand (HKC) but it has 4 out of 5 stars from 37 reviews. http://www.walmart.c...type=10&veh=aff
shooterx
Alright i haven't been on in a while but i just got back to my post so here it is. I would like between 19-23 inches with a normal 60hz refresh rate. I have a nvideo geforce 550 ti with i believe 2 gbs of ram, it has an hdmi output but i'm using the converter plug thing to make it vga. The resolution i play in is about 1024 x 768 but i mean with a bigger screen it would be bigger right? I play mostly shooting games such as Gmod, Rust, cod, battlefield, assassins creed, smite, war thunder and some left4dead 2 sometimes, but i mean im a well rounded gamer so yeah lol. I do watch a lot of youtube videos and movies and shoes on my pc also and i don't need any speakers or any extra stuff on it i just want the pure screen i already have speakers with a 6in sub-woofer also so i'm ok there. My budget is low right now because i just fixed my altima so im broke lol it's like under $100 if possible if not close to that price. I live in Chicago so there is a microcenter around here i think its a drive but i mean if its worth it ill check out their page and see if they have any instore sales. Hope this helps thanks for all the help so far guys! =)
