It's been a minute since I last posted here. Anyway...

Monitor Question: So I have three monitors. All of them are plugged into my Graphics card (GTX 650Ti) My main good monitor (ASUS) is what I use to play CS:S on the second monitor (HP) is for MS Paint for screen shots, and the third monitor (NEC) I have Steam messages/TS3/My Overclocking Program. BUT when I click on any of the other two monitors CS:S minimizes. Is there ANY way to make that not happen? It's annoying.

If it matters here the monitors and the way they are plugged into my Graphics card.

HP w2338h: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176109

NEC MultiSync LCD 1530V: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,13945,00.asp

ASUS VN248H-P: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236335

The way its setup is: The NEC is using the VGA port. The HP is using The HDMI port by using a VGA to HDMI converter thing. The ASUS is using the DVI port.

VGA to HDMI converter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00879DM56/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Speaker Question: I recently bought some speakers for my computer (before I used a headset, never had speakers til now). I'm wondering if there's ANY to play sound through my speakers while using my G930's headset? Cause I can't. :(

The Speakers are

Cyber Acoustics CA-3602a: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027VT6V4/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I didn't need anything special, plus my parents have these in the other room, I liked theres so that's why I bought my own. ^.^

THANKS! :D

You shouldnt be able to drag your mouse out of the CS:S window, And if youre playing in fullscreen then no, there's no way to fluently click on your other 2 monitors while keeping CS:S maximized. As for the simultaneous speaker+headset playback, what windows do you use?

Add this to your launch options:

-windowed -noborder

This will launch the game in windowed borderless mode. Then you will be able to click away while keeping the game maximized. To set the launch options, right click on the game listing in your library, then click on properties. From there, select launch options. Then add those parameters.

Short answer is yes. Thing is I don't have all the information. I don't know exactly what you are trying to do. Yes, you can play sound out of both at the same time. Can you play the same sound over both at the same time, no.

I hit Tab+Shift and the steam thingy, and then I can drag my mouse to the other screens.

THANK YOU! I'll try to do that later when I'm on my PC. And now I know that it is possible to play sound out both at the same time. I'll find a program, I'm sure that's the way to get that option.. Unless there's something on Windows.?

Well, what you could do is you could set your default playback device to be your speakers. Then, in steam, you can set your playback device to be your headset. This way you can play music out of your speakers, and game on your headset.

OKAY! The window code worked, now CS:S won't minimize.

For the sound.. I can't hear out of my headset, both my music and in game sound plays through the speakers, but my mic works. How do I exactly set the playback device to be my headset in Steam?

Thanks manee, I really appreciate it. ^_^
