Vetman
http://www.joindota.com/en/cups/1387-gigabyte-gaming-notebook-cup-4 As I'm typing this, registry ends in two days, and twenty hours. I'm assuming the prize for winning is gigabyte gaming notebooks. I also already have a team that i'd be signing up with. So if you guys want to play i encourage you to, there's only 48 teams so it'd be a day of gaming for you.
Boxer-I-
im interested in these types of things, but i believe our side of the community is still too "young" to get organized fully to a point where we wouldnt get completely smashed in high level play. Rather not go through that BF4 type of experience again :\. Soon once we solidify our place within Dota 2 as a unit we will seek out these types of events and hopefully put up quite a fight. I agree, you guys should practice before going into a tournament. People get really discouraged when they get beat really bad in video games and there's more of a chance for that in a tournament. Hung
Fully agree with Boxer. I wish I personally was ready to play in this JD tourney but I would rather wait and practice/develop as a player without getting my morale destroyed. I am sure if it goes well there will be many more like this in the future. 2014 is going to be epic for Dota. By the way, for anyone interested, there is another open tourney going on. The JD league: http://www.joindota.com/en/news/15147-joindota-league-goes-live This is what I was referring to last night when we got all confused.
