Allow Police To Confiscate Illegal Shop Items Without A Warrant

So, i was playing swat earlier, with about 30 people on the server. I was the only cop, and i see the large shop is filled with ak47's, lockpicks, and drugs for sale. I walk into the store and tell the storekeeper to pick them up or i will arrest him, and he refuses, also stating i can't arrest him. I try to pick up the illegal items, but it says you must have a warrant to pick up any shop items. He then kicks me off his property and continues selling illegal items.

 

And im not talking he had them hidden and i saw a stock poking out or anything, he had the objects on display in the window. I couldn't do anything to stop it just because we didn't have a chief or mayor, and couldn't get one as nobody was running for mayor, and nobody was gold.

 

So, instead of give criminals the right to sell hardcore drugs and machineguns just because we don't have a chief, perhaps we should allow police to pick up illegal items no matter what, even if they're part of a shop. We of course shouldn't let them pick up legal things, just automatics and contraband.

 

Or, perhaps we can have a way for non-gold people to become chief, such as the 120 hours AND Sgt. rank or something? I don't know. Chief is one of the most important positions, and it seems unbalanced that unless gold are on the server, or someone manages to get elected as mayor, warrants can't happen.

 

Im not saying we should hand out chief to any old cop, it should still take huge numbers of hours to get the position, but at least make it so the most important position in the government, besides mayor, doesn't require you to pay 15 bucks a month.

 

Sorry if im a complete idiot, it just seems unbalanced to me. Won't be offended if you remove this thread.

This, you legally can according to the default laws.

2. Possession of Illegal weapons

Rifles and sub machine guns and Shotguns ("WHEN EQUIPPED" in public) are strictly illegal at all times. (i.e. ARREST ON SIGHT)

(Note; Shotguns are still LEGAL to sell. While rifle ammo is illegal. Lockpicks and Molotovs are also Illegal)

Growing, holding, selling or buying any illegal substances is against the law and you may be arrested. Illegal substances include Weed, cocaine or any illegal drugs

 

14. Probable Cause

This means that if a officer visually sees you breaking a law in private property, he is aloud to enter and take action with a arrest/warning.
