fdh
I decided to share my secret with ttam tonight. I'm coming out now. Jk Anyways, I thought it was pretty ingenius, but after googling it, I've found several sites using the exact same method that made me feel so good for coming up w/ a few months ago Guess I'm not original...anyways... In ms paint the save type is defaulting as bmp. Most ppl here post in jpeg after using paint. So to make the save type default = jpeg do this: Open paint Don't draw anything (just leave a blank page) Save as normal, save type jpg Remember where you saved it! Close paint Open the folder where you saved your normal.jpg Right click on normal.jpg, go to properties Check the Read-Only toggle box Apply and Ok/Close Go to start>programs>accessories Right click on paint, go to properties In the target that says system root w/e... add a space after mspaint.exe and add this: "C:\path to your normal jpg\normal.jpg" Include the quotes. Next time you open paint, it'll default to the normal.jpg. Since you changed it to read-only, you are preventing yourself from saving over your normal.jpg (it will prompt you to save as even when you just click on save)
