So, i showed you the fence thing but you fixed. Textures look good, although i know you were trying to do the transparent hg logo. heres mine i used: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0xxnx5z63bss0f4/9KvE8X_AUn

just put in your materials/custom folder in your custom content and all that good stuff.

 

Also found out the library is OP but matt had a great idea to help that.

 

Rooms are pretty close to each other to help going from cade to cade easier when the zombies don't stop you first.

 

Overall this map would be so much more fun then Texas high school. I can't wait to play this on the server with more people!!!

Getting the negatives out of the way first.

 

I don't like the wall surrounding the map. Sure we have a few like that but it just doesn't look good especially when you know there isn't anything on the other side. http://prntscr.com/2oqe1d

I get that it's a school but the hallways just seem so boring. I was actually lost for a second before I found a door I hadn't opened. Variation in them is something I strongly suggest http://prntscr.com/2oqgcr

 

Not sure if these could cause problems or not but be prepared in the future to either give them health or remove them. http://prntscr.com/2oqgll

 

This whole area is made quite nicely but it lacks vertical. It's all flat. Looking at this screenshot I get the feeling that it's just a 2D object. Trees add to the effect but everything has hills. Even my school has hills and I live in south texas. http://prntscr.com/2oqgwz

 

I feel that the schools windows should be breakable. Chances are that zombies can break through all windows except bullet proof windows and I doubt a school will have those. http://prntscr.com/2oqhjj

 

Aside from those critiques there isn't much else. It repeats a bit but the room variation is good. Don't see much of an issue with prop count. I do however have an issue with the hallways and hope something can be done to add variation.

Maybe add a roof just like highschool beta, would make it realistic, also noticed most of the rooms have only 1 entrance which would be in favor of humans as they have most props.

 

Making the glass breakable at the entrance would be perfect, more humans will be needed to defend.

 

Adding more detail to the outside would make it look better.

 

Overall map would be good for the server.

I really enjoy the layout, a few tweaks and this could be a favourite. It has everything, places to cade that aren't OP, places to run around and do loops, places to snipe.

 

Only things I spotted were:

-No cubemaps: errors on load in console

-Front stairs: Misaligned textures on steps and railings uneven

-Pool room is very tall, could give a better feel if lowered a couple of hundred

 

Looking over the .vmf now but to me this looks like a lot of fun.

I like the small hills, it adds much needed variation on what would otherwise be flat and boring.

 

One thing I didn't mention was the pool. From the depth of it it seems to either be a diving pool or a lap pool. Lap pools have 8 lanes that are about 1.5 meters wide and 25 meters long. Separated by lane lines. http://prntscr.com/2oybfr If you wanted it as a diving pool possibly having a diving board would be kinda cool.

This feels more realistic with weeds and hills as if it really does fit in after the zombie invasion with the lack of upkeep. http://prntscr.com/2oycvn

 

I'm fine with it growing inside but that's concrete on the left. Also clipping issues on the right. I think those on the right could be solved by having vines over there. http://prntscr.com/2oydf8

Though the hallways still feel the same. Not much I suppose you could do but look for something to make a strong landmark in the hallways. I don't know, collapsed wall, car, couple bodies, small last stand barricade, just something to make it look more abandoned for the feel.

 

This is what I like the least about your map. It just ends. It feels isolated. Something I hope you'll work on is your own custom skybox so this feels more like it isn't just a map but part of a city. http://prntscr.com/2oyfiy
