DeRedPanda
I am building a PC and the parts are listed on another post below. Many people suggested adding a SSD into the build for faster start times. For the added price, is it worth it to get a SSD. Will the boot times of the PC be that noticeable? Does anyone have a recommendation for a SSD and the size I should get? Thanks for any input anyone could provide. Ryan Bass
You should not make another topic. As I sad you will feel it a lot. I'm planning to install ssd in my laptop as well.

That information is great. I just joined this forum so I didn't know if I should, sorry. Thanks for those great comparisons! ssSithy
I'd say get both an SSD and an HDD. Put OS and important programs on SSD, and put everything else on HDD.
animeking503
I would second this, use the SSD for your Boot Drive and most used program and the HDD for pure storage - I'd say get both an SSD and an HDD. Marshal Phoenyx
The SSD/HDD combination is what I did for my gaming machine. I would recommend this for others and tends to be the best option. Anarchy24
Yeah, use SSD/HDD until the larger more spacial SSD's are cheaper and more available. I use a 210GB Samsung SSD on my laptop boot-time from dead sleep to being able to use everything with no momentary lag is about 25 seconds. I installed my, steam, origin and a few other platforms to it and I keep everything on a separate drive.
XxwonderbredxX
Yeah. It makes a difference with startup times and how the performance is. Use the SSD for important programs you use the most and the OS. I felt like the SSD is expensive that's why I didn't get one.
Billiam1515
Using an ssd as a boot drive with apps, or as a cache for the hard drive is a good investment,
