Blondie
Hello everybody, I decided to build a PC, leave the console world and come back to good old PC gaming, where communities are. I want to build a PC for about $1000, last time I built one was in year 2000, it's been a while and many things have change. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to picking out parts. I was wondering if some of you computer genius would be able to help me come up with a last, from the case to the video card. However, I do live in Canada, if the parts are available here even better. Anything will help, Thanks, Blondie

HiggsBosonParticle
I would get an Intel Core i5. i7 isn't worth the price for gaming. Get the highest clock speed you can afford. Maybe Crucial memory for RAM. I'm sure there are other good manufacturers. I'm not a good source for information on graphics cards, though.
