6. Please tell us about the incident I was in the CS:S 24/7 de_dust 2 DM server. Upon entering there was a person under the nick of Shaneisaghost. This individual was being complained about constantly with report of hacking (toggling). I finally took to hands and called butters, the admin on duty to watch and spectate Shane. I was ignored, I thought with all of the kill report logs going off, it would be hard to see. Thus I took it to team chat. With no response to that, I used the @ in teamchat for directly message butter/admins to take a look at him. I was yet again ignored. This went on for about 10minutes. After the person had left, butters reported that he was gone and it was time to hush about it. I called out butters for not doing his job as admin and ignoring me plus the hacker. His response was "There are other admins on, not just me" This is not the point, I called for butters to handle this job, not another admin. After much altercation, and me saying how he obviously doesn't know how to admin a server correctly, he muted me. I said "Gg admin but that's for using my mic" cause he clearly doesn't know what to do. After saying this, I was gagged, removing my right to type. I understand for what I said was wrong and out of place, but then this followed. "Kicked by administrator" Well okay I understand, that's cool by me. But then my friend reports to me in game that he followed kicking me with in game all speak that butters has said "How that?". Now this is what got to me is how quickly I was kicked for calling out an admin to how he doesn't know how to handle a hacker, plain and simple, but I get full force taken on me for calling out an admins incapability to fulfill his duties. The reason for my thread is to take this admin, put him through training or at least provoke his abilities until he learns how to properly use them and who to use them on.

Our paid admins (who buy the Gold Package from our Store) are not obligated to control the server/admin fully/etc., its all to their discretion. And unless you have proof of the gag/mute/kick/etc. being out of place/uncalled for, there's nothing that can be done off of someone just saying "X did Y".

That is a very strange way to let an admin go but if that's so, then I am sorry for the people who play on the server. It's impossible to play without an admin actually ever doing anything unless someone toggles them or talks down to them like me. There should be moderation over those who buy admin and allow it to be revoked. I wouldn't waste my time doing this if it wasn't true. Plus if you read into the logs, you will see more and more of what he was doing. That's not me just saying "X did Y" This is "X did Y" With server log report.

All of the people within our community who are free admins, trusted admins, and leadership will use their admin when they see something wrong. Feel free to add me or other members of CSS leadership in case there are problems in the future. If anything happens, you can either PM me on forums, put a message in the chatbox, contact an admin on teamspeak (voice.hellsgamers.com:2012), or message someone on STEAM. Most paid admins, however, will act when they see something wrong. I can't speak for those who do not, however.

 

Through logs, I can't really see everything that was said for the mute, and then for the gag, and then for the kick unless you have a demo or screenshots of the whole ordeal. I'm not saying that you are an example of false accusations, but without the correct proof, action cannot be taken off of hearsay.

There's no easy way to gain SS when you are muted/gagged/kicked in a short time frame and recording a demo 24/7 isn't going to happen for anyone unless they are paranoid or looking for trouble. Moderation from Butters/Any admin on there is very little to none. Nothing is ever taken to account and half of the players on there are ignored unless they have donated

I understand, that's just how our proof policy works to best avoid hearsay. If you'll provide me with you STEAM ID, I can see what I can find. If that doesn't work, I'm sorry, but not much past that point can be done.

So considering that the admin(s) who had dealt with you followed the procedures of warn/gag/kick > ban, there's no abuse at that point.

 

Also, considering your chat logs contain a decent of disrespect/trash talk:

 

 

You were handled correctly by our admins.

 

With there being no proof of the player hacking as well, nothing can be done about that either.

 

Lastly, like I said, paid admins are not inclined to take action on everything that occurs within the server.
