You take the code, and just activate the game on steam. It helps me get referal points, and once you make an account you can have your friends register. Has nothing to do with being cheap, but if you dont have something nice to say, or if your not interested then theres no need to make nasty comments. If you go through one of the other dealers, its not always a 100% guarantee (you can buy a security thing from G2A though) but I've never had problems with them either.
