I muted him when because he was moaning the N word in chat, and then claimed to be only moaning.

He believes what I did was wrong even though he admits that he was moaning on the mic in his chat logs.

He continued his disrespect after I dealt with him last night.

Is this a valid reason to get his ban duration extended? Considering I do not believe he learned his lesson.

A week sounds good to me. If he wants to dispute it he can come to the forums but it won't go far.

1 week stands for racism and disrespect.
