If your life or someone else's is directly threatened, you may use lethal force. So I come upstairs....I see Admin 1 and Admin 2 punching Guy X. I know this punching has been going on for atleast 8 seconds so I know Guy X is about to die. I bring out my MP5, nail Admin 2 in the face..... Admin 1 then kills Guy X...Still firing I kill Admin 1. Medic revives them all..... An admin 1 or 2 blacklists me even though I quote rules at them. The rules clearly state I should of used lethal force. I heard a fight....I saw 2V1, the guy didn't even look like he was fighting back.....I took out the guys who appeared to be the threat. I saw 2 experienced players beating up a newbie........ I take out the experienced players....who wouldn't? Ok, lets say Im wrong......Maybe he punched them in the first place.....He might even punched both of them! Why on earth did they start beating him up? They were both admins.....if they were punched then the appropriate thing would of been to freeze him....explain the rules to him....warn him/kick him. However, the admins seemed to be bloodthirsty......and blacklisted me for doing my job and following the rules.... Immediate action would be appreciated. winduufm Friend of HG Debrit, in a situation where you are seeing a mess of people punching each other, I believe even though what the rules say is to use lethal force, you must also take in consideration that: | 1. You must tell us to stop first, not just take action immediately. 2. We were using fists/bats, no lethal GUNS were ever used in the process, making the use of an MP5(a lethal force gun) extremely unnecessary. 3. You must be carefuly cause all you did was spray n' pray at the spawn! You could've killed innocent people, which i'm preety sure you did. Also, everyone punching/being punched agreed so there was no problem since like you said most of us were admins and if there really was an abuse or problem, we would've handled it. Next time, think before acting. |

I know the swat/police rules...and I like to think myself a good shot. | Please note that the rule states If a life is in danger, you may use lethal force. It doesn't talk about what weapons you are using..... I saw a life in danger...and I acted according to what I saw and what the rules stated. In a real world situation...if i see 2 guys beating a guy to death...im not just gonna sit around and watch asking you nicely to stop. I know you had already beat him to a pulp, hes about to die....and before I could stop you he was dead. I thought very carefully before I acted..hence a two second pause between arriving and pulling out my MP5. I don't mean to be arrogant, but that is against the rules. If so, I lose alot of respect for you since you agreed to fight a newbie 2 v 1. If by some miracle, I am totally wrong because the rules sometimes don't apply to some people, a day blacklist was certainly not an appropriate punishment. I have made ban requests before on second offence and it resulted in a warning. I can guarantee this is my first offence as Swat (second in all, but the admin was way out of order and was punished for it). |

I saw a guy dying.....I should just walk on by? I'm sorry but thats extreme fail-RP. I don't know how clear I can make this. One guy died, I shot 2 people cause they were trying to kill him. I see no rules that I broke. Lets break it down. Two admins had apparently, agreed to RDM with two of their mates in the spawn area. Apparently this was admin business, that could breach the rules....fine by me, keep it too yourselves. However, because I acted in role play, ignoring the fact that they were admins, my would of been normal actions, resulted in a lengthy blacklist. I was blacklisted for interrupting admin affairs with no warning that it was admin business. I have been blacklisted for following the rules. I acted in full Role-Play. Apparently I was meant to know that you were all admins...and that randomly killing each other...is normal. And that doing it in spawn....is fully allowed. How many times can I say this. I broke no rules. There was no correction given before a serious punishment. Quite frankly, it was a misunderstanding. Nobody came out worse....except me, and all I did was FOLLOW THE RULES. If you still don't realize I did nothing wrong...look at it from my view. I heard pain...I investigated, I acted to save a life, which I failed to do so. I think it is bending it to say that I should of used my tazer cause the RULE STATES: IF A LIFE IS IN DANGER, YOU MAY USE FORCE. I'm EXTREMELY sorry if im stupid enough not to know that you guys were best of buds and that admins were allowed to RDM and that i should of known this....because its basic knowledge. I AM WILLING TO CALL IT SQAURE. I WILL NOT PRESS ABUSE CHARGES IF YOU UNBLACKLIST. This was a misunderstanding on both parts, and I am willing to say that. If I am being punished for following a set of rules I pushed for to be clearer so this type of stuff didn't happen.....whats the point of them? How many times can I stress that I followed the rules. I am not bloodthirsty, I acted quickly on what information I had. Quite honestly, I am not ashamed to say that I acted hastily....understandably, but hastily.
