Hi there,

Please let me address this:

I was not happy that f4ithl3ss decided to do first reaction last reaction less than 2 minutes into the game. I then fired him and may have called him a shitty lead for doing that (my opinion is that you should be able to come up with something better to do so early in the round, but that is just my opinion). I then got kicked for "promoting fire".

I don't believe saying !fire is promoting fire, so I was sort of upset. Plus, I do believe admins are supposed to warn before kicking. I then made a comment about how players should watch out when they are typing "!fire" as it may get them kicked. I didn't realize that was a possibility.

Anyways, f4ithl3ss then says, "alright, you are banned now cuz I don't like you" and bans me. Again, no warning.

I apologize for my part in this. Whether or not the kick was warranted should have been discussed in forums, not in game. Regardless, I don't approve in being kicked or banned without being warned.

Thanks for your time in reviewing this. I'll make sure to take disagreements to forums from now on.

Added my perspective. Please advise! Don't mean to be causing issues and would appreciate warnings in future. I've been a player on JB for many months now, and even supported the server for several months with gold donations.

A warning would be appreciated rather than straight kicking and banning for typing !fire and expressing opinion.

Thanks! I'm not proud of how I conducted myself after the initial kicking (should have gone to forums immediately), but I'd like some due process / warning before being kicked and banned. I believe admins must warn before taking either of these actions.

Please advise on whether or not I should file an abuse report.

You were being a dick, I kicked you, you came back and we're being a dick again, I banned you.

Conclusion, Don't be a dick and you won't get banned

Shown by your chat logs, you were, to put it as simple as possible, being a dick. There is a difference between firing with a valid reason, and a difference between firing and being a dick with your reason. You ARE allowed to fire with a legitimate reason, but you shouldn't be a blatant dick when doing so.

The ban will stay for two hours, take this as a learning experience.
