REQUESTING AN UNBAN

I have no idea where this ban came from, I went onto Gmod and click on the [HG] 24/7 Zombie Survival! | FastDL | HeLLsGamers.com , when everything downloaded I played for about 15 second and then I was kicked from the server. A message popped up saying (paraphrasing) "You have a Gmod Virus. Please Google 'VINH'LL FIX IT', Uninstall Gmod and delete the folder and reinstall'. I looked it up, and deleted the 'engine_win32.dll' from garrysmod folder, and also deleted Gmod itself and reinstalled it. I came back onto the server, reset my keyboard to default (people on steam forums were saying to reset and type 'unbindall' into console) and everything went smooth. When the map changed, about 1 minute into the match I got kicked from the server and a message popped up saying "You have been BANNED, Cheats Detected". I have no clue why it says I have cheated, I've never installed any mods just ran Gmod straight from Steam. Maybe its the virus or something, maybe this problem will spread, but in no way shape or form did I use cheats in Gmod. Please read and review this case, [HG] 24/7 Zombie Survival! | FastDL | HeLLsGamers.com is the only zombie server I go on and I would love to get back. Thank you.

You weren't successful in removing the entirety of the virus. There are still remnants that are causing our system to flag it. Try a Verify Game Cache.

It may also be spreading back onto your machine from the Steam Cloud Saves.

Thank you for the reply, I will take care of the issue. Should I report back once I've wiped the virus so that I can become unbanned?

You've already been unbanned. If you can stay on the server for an extended period of time it'd be a good indicator that you're no longer infected. If you can just report back on what exactly made it stop so we can share it with everyone else that is infected.
