Piggy had a Ping mask on, I have heard of ping masks tricking the server into thinking your ping is really low and if you have a high one it ends up lagging the server. No advisors were on for me to ask if ping masks were allowed, so I asked Piggy if he could turn it off for the meantime. He turned it off, I had already kicked Avia several times for spamming on the mic, he came back after being kicked and said "Hey Piggy type cl_updaterate 0 (whatever the command for ping mask is) and it really ticked me off. I started asking him why he needed to ask Piggy to do that after he just heard me say "Please turn off the ping mask" he started laughing, he does it often. He has an obnoxious laugh he uses just to try and piss people off. He challenges the admins and im quite done with it. Im fine with him just getting an hour break, but if you can extend it to a few hours or a day. Would be great. Here are the ticks of when everything happened, I had a longass demo. Sorry bout that..
Ticks:
38500 - Avia starts spamming the mic by yelling and pressing keys on his keyboard really loudly, yes I am completely sure he knew he was doing it.
40000 - I ask piggy to turn off the Ping Mask till further notice.
42000 - After I kick avia he comes back telling Piggy to turn on the ping mask.
42500 - I yell at him for telling piggy to turn the ping mask back on. He laughs obnoxiously.
44200 - I ban Avia for disrespect.

I couldn't hear it in the demo for whatever reason. Right before I banned him over mic I asked him if he could stop being so disrespectful and just calm down a bit. His blatant response was "how about no." Thats when I flipped and banned him, the utter disrespect the Minigames servers gives towards Moderators is unbearable.

I banned Avia again. He came back onto the server and as soon as he joined said !? multiple times and then when I asked why he had to come on and immediately spam the chat he said that he didn't and he was hacked. Your apparently still reviewing this demo and it was just an extension till you decide what to do. http://hellsgamers.gameme.com/player_histories/chat/4383124
He said he was hacked and that his little brother did it. Always has to be the little brother, right?

He said it twice. That's not really spamming and sure as hell isn't worth banning a player over. Still reviewing this, in the meantime, chill out with your admin power.

Ok... again we can't hear your voice on the demo so this is completely one sided. From what I can tell....

I see where avia yelled in to his mic near the beginning of the demo. You kicked him without warning him via ALL chat. You shouldn't have kicked him.

I don't see anything else in the demo that warranted a kick, let alone a ban.

I'll remind you of what RageQuit said in the ban report you did yesterday..... "Either provide better proof next time or cool it. Just because you have admin doesn't mean you have to use it. Also, considering you're talking without recording your voice in the demo (use voice_loopback 1 in console), you could have been egging on other users in the server. "

1) Ping masks are not against the rules. A single player's ping can't lag the server.

2) Stop taking everything personally. Its a game, and in games you have fun. Shit talking and minor disrespect are fine as long as its not crossing the line to being offensive.

3) You need to enable voice_loopback 1 for demos with you warning players over the mic to be accepted as valid proof. If this is still a problem in the future, your reports will most likely be disapproved for that reason alone.

4) Lastly, just because you're an admin doesn't mean you have to flex it and every single little opportunity that arises. You're a regular player, and then your admin is there to keep the server in order and make sure that the rules are being followed. Again, don't be a nazi with these rules.. its a game.

In the future, if you have more false bans, your admin powers may be reviewed and the question will arise if its a problem allowing you to continue to have the privilege of admin. If it is indeed a problem, you admin may be removed.
