Player (pseudonym ".com") was playing as Heavy class and would hold down fire and kill everyone on the map. He received hundreds of points over a very short period of time. It was clear he was using an aimbot so I asked him to stop and he refused so I banned him for 1 hour.

Note: His name was appearing as blank so I had to look up his STEAM ID to ban that way. This player has been on a number of times to run this same kind of aimbot so it might be prudent to consider a permanent ban.

The correct procedure for getting aimbots permanently banned is to switch to spectator mode and spectate them in first person view. Next start a recording in the TF2 console, e.g. record aimbot1
Once you have gathered enough evidence for a ban so that there is no doubt that they are an aimbot, ban them.

Type stop in console to stop recording.

Find your ban on HG bans and add your proof.

Unless you do that we cannot permaban the aimbotter.
