I was using trade chat and saying "Looking for an AK skin, I have 12k for trading."
Then I get a friend request from this dude Bobby. We start talking and I really want a Redline skin, and he so happens to be willing to trade me for it. I was told that the Redline AK went about 10k so I thought 12k was enough because I really wanted this skin. I trade him in chat and then he goes offline in the middle of the trade and cancels. Then changes his name and leaves the HG Jailbreak server.

I don't know if this guy was a reported scammer or just a normal mean dude. But now I'm out of 12k rep and I don't have a Redline AK.

Britt helped return the rep, and bobby has still tried to scam me so, I feel that there is still a need for a warning. If he scams me, what stops him from doing it again?
We all have to learn from our mistakes. And accept the punishment if you break the rules.

I'm asking for perm several people I have talked to said
" he realized he got caught"
"and he realized rep isn't worth anything if ur banned"

Which means he might try to scam others again.

You shouldn't be trading Steam items for rep. Steam trading should be for other Steam items, that way its insured and there isn't any issues.
