Friend of HG | Thanks for the report. This is unacceptable, especially after we had a talk over steam. Evidently did not learn. Blacklisted and extended. |
Friend of HG | Basically, I wasn't just randomly wasting props it actually had a purpose, following the new gmod update i realized that things like grenades and props launched humans and zombies alike of things so decided to try incorporate this into a defensive structure. The "prop waste" on tag sealed on the metal beams was successful in knocking zombies off of the beams so it was more difficult for zombies to damage the overall barricade. The "prop waste" on the map before was actually me testing if it would work by nailing props hanging off of each other and seeing if it would push things back and it did. Before i could explain myself everyone just kept calling it a shit cade. Although this seems far fetched, it really is true new gmod update ruined all physics and i was just trying to use it to help humans for once rather than it lunging us off of skycades for no reason like it did on many maps earlier on the day i made the prop pushing machine. I called it "art" as a joke because of how bad it looked. |
HG Member | So... You said: The "prop waste" on tag sealed on the metal beams was successful in knocking zombies off of the beams so it was more difficult for zombies to damage the overall barricade. Are you admitting to exploiting the server and taking advantage of how the physics are broken at this current time to give the humans an advantage over the zombies? Think wisely before you post a reply to this. Ban stands at this moment. |
Friend of HG | I am not admitting to exploiting the server as the prop pushing machine works similar to prop minefields, the zombies could easily avoid it by jumping over it or by walking in the middle of it as the see saw like structure meant the machine leaned one way if the zombies were stood too far on one side. It didn't just throw them off and make it impossible for them it just took common sense to avoid which for some reason a lot of players just don't have. The new update that ruined physics only made the seesaw more likely to lean to one side with zombies on it. If i wanted to exploit i would have nailed all the props to the beam at an angle and made sure all the props were benches as benches at angles for some reason send models flying, I know this because i attempted to make a skycade on a previous map and got launched out of it for no reason even thought the bench allowed players to stand on it seconds later it just bucked them off. The broken physics only inspired my idea, I decided to "incorporate" things being flung off of things into a balancing structure that only knocked things off if people didn't know what they were doing. For as long as i know, structures like the see saw i made have always been possible but barely anyone ever tries them as they are difficult to build and need some sort of in world ledge in the middle of them to balance them, which most zs maps do not have. The see saw didn't really give humans an unfair advantage although granted it helped them defend for a while most zombies attacking the cade found out how to dodge the structure and some of them just destroyed it anyway. When i said about the broken physics always getting humans killed and that i was just "trying to use it to help humans for once" i was merely referring to it inspiring the see saw prop pushing machine although i don't know why i called it the prop pushing machine because in theory it didn't actually push them off it just tilted side to side making them fall off if they stood in the wrong place or just disorientating them for a brief second. Any advantages it did give humans were basically the same that a minefield would give them and because there can't be a minefield outside of that room, I just had to be more creative. I wouldn't really call this an exploit because normally exploits give certain teams or players huge advantages over everyone else, which this didn't, the game was still a fair one and as humans pretty much always do on tag_sealed, they lost. |
