HG Veteran | Ok so since no tick was provided, I decided to watch the entire demo, and came across numerous incidents of rule-breaking. Around the 20-24K tick area, we see Alucard and Mamoo testing their base setup. Alucard kills Mamoo once, finishes him off, and Mamoo returns immediately, which is technically breaking nlr. This same incident occurs around the 30-32K tick area where Alucard dies, and returns to Empire Hotels immedaitely, which again, is violating nlr. I get you guys were testing your base area, but please respect nlr, you never know what could happen over that time and the outcome it could bring. I will let these instances slide since it really wasn't affecting gameplay. So, lets move on to the real situation in regards to this report... 34-36K Tick area, we see Alucard returning to Empire Hotels as Lemonade and Rizon appear to be raiding Alucard and Mamoo's property. Rizon is shot and killed, and Alucard proceeds towards his property, where he is shot and killed by Lemonade, and respawns in the Nexus. Not following the NLR timer (300 seconds aka 5 minutes), Alucard returns to Empire Hotels, appears to say something to the dead body, and leaves. So lets break this down, starting with what NLR is. 4. Do not break NLR (New Life Rule). New Life Rule applies every time you die, and lasts for 300 seconds. You have no memory of your previous life unless revived by a medic or otherwise and cannot return to the place of your death until the NLR time period runs out, regardless of any possible event. Alucard, you died in a raid, and returned to that area, which immediately violates this rule. I don't care if the server doesn't physically apply an NLR timer, you've been playing here for a while. NLR means NLR, and it applies to every death involving you re-spawning in the Nexus. Saying, "Oh well the server never applied NLR to me so that means I can go back!". That's a bullshit excuse and you know it. This seems like more of a giant misunderstanding so i'm going to let this slide. Don't let this happen again. |
