His friend and him had started the nonsense and was pissing me off he didn't record the part of them trashing me. I would have not have said anything if they didn't start it.

That still wouldn't give you an excuse to be toxic back as well. You should be the bigger man and either ignore it or take evidence and report them for being toxic. Retaliating with more toxicity is never the answer and will never solve anything.

Wait out a week due to your history and don't make any more mistakes like this or we won't be so generous.
