Jeri :) HG Veteran  If you were going to have them start hurdles again you needed to allow them time to complete the new order. Eric Friend of HG My thought process with what i was doing was to get the ts as close to the lasers as possible because nobody was dying from hurdles, give them like a one second head start and then activate the lasers similar to having the ts start climb and turning on the lava immediately. As i was giving the order, i misclicked "e" instead of "r" to reload my awp so i didnt have a crosshair and i guess i was just unlucky and my crosshair was over the start button, activating hurdles. I talked to everyone on the server in game chat and they were ok with me making a honest mistake and there was no bad blood. I slayed and got t-locked and that seemed to be fine for everyone involved. I know mfks are a week t-list but just wanted to give my side of the story for the record. Ive been playing HG JB for close to a decade now, i think its a fair assumption i know the rules and wouldnt intentionally mfk especially when mod promos are right around the corner. | |

Jeri :)HG Veteran While I may understand the intentions of your order and I entirely believe you weren't purposely trying to MFK accidents happen and in this case it resulted in an MFK. | I would probably caution you about trying to do something like the climb example in hurdles as while climb gives you audible beeps and noises to start and a decent delay something like this wouldn't give t's nearly enough time to start running before the lasers turn on after you give the order. Accidents happen, but an MFK is an MFK. |
