Friend of HG | Saturday, 4/13 approx 1:00pm Central. OrangeX server Player KillingInTheNameOf was unusually accurate with the sniper rifle, gauging an inordinate number of dominations and kills. Having played for years, I know when something isn't right. I went to spectator and shadowed him with Fraps. The linked video is edited for size, but in 5 minutes I saw numerous "kills" where the cross hair was off target, in some cases not even close. I don't report people normally, but this was egregious and made the game unplayable for the opposition. Video link: http://bit.ly/176qz7g Highlights 00:13 - Headshot on a scout when crosshair is significantly off 00:29 - Killing shot on airborne soldier when scoped crosshairs are below the player's feet 00:35 - Kill on a scout that was inside a building. Note the bullethole on the wall, indicating a miss 01:08 - Two shots on airborne solder with unscoped crosshairs far off the mark. Notice the blood spray on the soldier indicating a hit and the credit for the kill as he falls 01:22 - Scoped kill on an engineer while aiming far left. 01:28 - Similar to above. Kill on engineer with far left aim. 01:51 - Domination kill on engineer with crosshairs below and right of target. |
Friend of HG | While it does seem fishy, the shots being off are likely lag and not an aimbot. Also, use a demo not youtube next time, and upload it here using drag and drop. |
