Friend of HG | RDM/Illegal Blocking. As you can see in this demo I own the lower 2 shops thus making all the hallways Public property. I told him many times that it wasn't allowed, so did a few others. When he shot me I made sure I had no weapons and I was simply standing in the corner. We explained to him that you must own ALL doors in the apartment complex including the shops below. lockeddoors.dem (4.67 MB) |
Friend of HG | First of all, it must be noted that, as Devnull conveniently failed to state, I owned every single apartment in the building (101, 102, 202, 203, and penthouse). During said event, it is also important to note that I was being raided. Alarms were audibly going off. Now, in order to get the raiders, I jumped down from the penthouse and worked my way up from the lobby, shooting people who were attempting to make their way through apartments. I saw devnull on the first or second floor up the stairs and I shot him. Right next to him? another raider. Now, I was under the impression that in order to block off the LOBBY you need to own the showrooms. I, however did not own them, so therefore I did not block them off. I did own every apartment, so I blocked off apartments to civilians by locking doors off, considering nobody else had property up there. I encourage you to think about this in an RP context. What business does someone who owns a showroom have upstairs in other people's homes? The people who told me I wasn't allowed to do that were; 1. Devnull (who obviously posted this report) 2. Devnull's friends (clearly no bias) 3. Raiders, but only AFTER they had unsuccessfully raided. Look, if you need to own the Show-rooms in order to block off the upper portion of apartments, this is a rule I was not aware of. In my humble opinion, I believe that blocking off that portion of the apartments while possessing ownership of every room is legal. That, however, is for HG to decide I guess. -doubleG |
Friend of HG | Might I add I asked him what his steam name was in order to confirm his ID and he lies and said it was "Zodox" STEAM_0:1:16411849 ....which is Loki. |
Friend of HG | Yes, I did try to raid this place about 10 minutes or so before I started recording for the sole purpose of the Illegal Blocking. I got RDM'ed during. I didn't know initially that there was a guy up there raiding. Oh well I though I was safe were I was at in the corner. Also to the following statement below... There was also a unbiased cop that was in the area that also advised you of this. "The people who told me I wasn't allowed to do that were; 1. Devnull (who obviously posted this report) 2. Devnull's friends (clearly no bias) 3. Raiders, but only AFTER they had unsuccessfully raided." I was told many times that I could not have props in the hallway in Tides unless I owned 100% of all doors in that building. Even if I owned 5 and 6 I couldn't prop the hallway to them... Also he wants you to think RP... Who would leave their doors Jimmied open in an apartment in this manner.lol |
Friend of HG | "I was told many times that I could not have props in the hallway in Tides unless I owned 100% of all doors in that building. Even if I owned 5 and 6 I couldn't prop the hallway to them..." -Devnull Because you don't own ALL of them you can't block in there. I owned ALL of the apartments, so therefore I can block them off. Are you playing with a full deck over there devnull? |
Guests | What he did is illegal, you do not own the hallway unless you own the entire apartment complex. Also it is your own fault for standing there trying to bait him into getting in trouble, whilst his apartments were being raided. DoubleG please do not do this again or I will ban for it, thank you. |
