The slap was a harmless, 0-damage slap to get his attention for clearly ignoring any and all online admins. It came AFTER the slay.

Definitely vouch for this. User gave no reason for slaying me and would not respond to numerous admins. User clearly abuses his privileges.

Already applied for HG. Just waiting for a response. Hopefully I get in!

N/A Any other information you want to include is welcome I am a computer programmer at heart and I have been working on something for HG for a while; I am creating a desktop client for HG that will run similar to the website, but in a clean native format. It will allow you to connect to the HG servers, display recent HG news, store your favorite HG servers to connect to quicker without having to navigate through a whole web browser. (I don't expect this to influence my acceptance in any way, I just thought I should share that I was designing for the community; think of it as my way of giving back.)

It's already working. I just need to parse the news and add the favorites and the first beta is done.

Thanks for the defending of it. Maybe it is because you can sort based on the games you play, the servers you like the most, etc. Maybe so that you don't have to take forever loading the website for those with low bandwidth connections. Maybe you are just someone who prefers a desktop client over a webbrowser that needs to load extra scripts, styles, etc.

I might also add the ability to log in and check PMs and stuff like that. Not quite sure what to do.

I was hoping someone would. And I plan on adding quite a bit more to it than is shown. I just wanted to give back to the community, is all.

I figured I would contribute to HeLLsGamers a bit, so I started creating a desktop client for users. So far, it is only a server browser; but it will include a desktop version of the news page, a desktop version of the bans page, and if I can, a desktop store. It will also include favorite HG servers so you can set your most used servers. I know it isn't much, but it is what I am good at and I know there will be at least ONE user who uses it. It is also designed to look a LOT like the HG website, so it feels native and comfortable. Screenshot: Any thoughts or feedback for me?
