As before, it helps if you use mat_wireframe 1 (sv_cheats 1 must be enabled for that to work). I also run "demoui" in console to pause the demo for time to enable mat_wireframe 1, and I usually slow it down to about 75%. For what it's worth, I think ghosting is shitty but I know its one of those things that nobody does anything about because for some strange reason the powers that be really want to drive traffic to their Ventrilo server. It's one of the main reasons you won't EVER find me on there.

That was pretty much the same arrangement I had when I was invited, and I was invited some time before Depti. I'm never on vent, even though I have it installed. A few months ago I flat-out ASKED to be removed from HT and have my admin cancelled, and my request was refused -- which is funny given this thread. I even asked to be banned from the forum, but no such luck -- not that I really visit here anymore anyway. I rarely join the server either because quite frankly the way things are handled nowadays are patently ridiculous, and it is no surprise to read about the other QUALITY admins experiencing the same things I did. What you need is an intermediate level of admin that allows those select individuals to have authority over the common admins. I think that there already is such a tier in place on the server, but those powers are not in the hand of people mature enough to make it beneficial to the server. You pretty much have those people to thank for the pathetic state of affairs on the server. Good work.

WTF are you talking about? The MOTD clearly states NO MIC SPAMMING. I shouldn't have to get every admin's buy-in before I mute an obvious rule-breaker. What's next, every admin on the server has to agree before someone bans a hacker? Besides, I DID warn the spammer, and he didn't stop. Fuck that. Get him in here to apologize and it might be a bit more convincing.

Whether anybody has noticed or not, I haven't been on the Office server in quite a while. I don't need to get into the reason why that is, but suffice it to say that I've been reluctant to return to the server. Tonight, I decided I come on an play a bit. Play was going fine for a while, until some kid started mic spamming with HLDJ. Fine, whatever. I told him not to, and either he couldn't hear me, or he didnt care, so I ended up muting him. At the same time, however, This admin: "Fut3ch" STEAM_0:0:16202058 ...was actually encouraging this kid to spam the mic. He literally instructed him to do it. After I had muted the kid, Fut3ch UNmuted him, presumably for the purpose of continuing the spamming. Luckily, the kid had stopped and didn't start for another half dozen rounds or so. Then, he fires up HLDJ again and starts spamming some lame techno song. So, I give him a temp ban for 60 minutes. Well, Fut3ch isn't happy about that. So he proceeds to threaten me that I'm going to lose my admin, blah blah blah -- I just ignore him. That is, until he starts swapping me to the opposite team whenever he feels like it. I was watching him again today, and i saw the same shit. He's banned again and he'll stay that way. The demos leave no doubt.

I banned this walling asshole, but I was too busy in the last couple of days to find this thread. I've actually banned him twice, but i dont know how he got unbanned the first time. Pain Redefined has been playing on the server for a long time. I've never suspected him of walling. Having watched both demos, I STILL do not suspect him of walling. It was obvious from the chat on Office.dem that the CTs had been spawn camping for several rounds in a row. It isn't surprising that Pain spammed the corner of CT spawn and killed a camper behind the long sniper boxes. Nothing else was even slightly suspicious to me.

For what its worth, I've known kbot for a number of years, and I can certainly vouch for his skills and even temperament. He is certainly worthy of consideration for inclusion in the HT clan. kbot, I recommend playing HG Office more frequently, and it will only be a matter of time before more senior HT members take notice. That is all.

Both of you do me a favor. First copy the demos to your cstrike folder, if you haven't already. 1. Launch Counter-Strike: Source, and in console, type "demoui" 2. Click "Load" and load one of the demos. 3. When the demo starts, click "Pause" on the demoui window, and move the slider down to about 75% 4. Before resuming, open up the console, and type "sv_cheats1" and "mat_wireframe 1" 5. Watch all the demos, especially 1 and 7. In all likelihood its actually an ESP hack, not true wallhacks.
