Dr.jiggles Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) I was playing on my regular 2fort server when the server died on us because some assholes kept killing the almighty conga. Any way it was just 4 people left including me on the server by the next round restart. Since We had only been on the server for like 20 minutes and didnt want to leave but it wouldve been boring to play 2v2, I challenged my friend to a market gardener battle. It was a lot of fun and another one of my friends who was spectating decided to join in. We all had a good time. server/map was 2fort we just jumped around the roof of the bridge trying to mg each other. some basic concepts for this idea We could go with a custom arena type map or go with a map like 2fort or hightower, some modifications to reduce the map size could be made. I would make it rocket jumper only or reduce all damage and knockback on regular launchers to 0. Soldier should be the only playable class since any other class would have to be spectator and whenever you touch an enemy it wont let you move would be terribly annoying. Only the market gardener should be able to do dmg and preferably any damage that is not a crit be registered at 0 so it doesnt turn into market gardner degroot. Personally i wouldnt allow the base jumper since it would remove a lot of skiill and randomness from only being able to strafe instead of floating in the air which was what made it so fun. feel free to express any concerns, ideas, and/or suggestions.
