  8. Hello everyone! It has been a long time since we had a ZM server. With each passing day to week we are seeing an increase of activity in the Crackhouse DM server (CHDM), and as a result it could be worth trying to set up a second CS:S server and see how it goes. I've selected ZM for this. We had a few interests risen for a GunGame DM as well but for now, we'll wait and see how zombie mod does first. It'd be at such point we can consider opening a third server. So far the following maps are on ZM: The server is presently 88% complete. However, should any of you have any zombie map suggestions, please don't hesitate to suggest them in this thread as well. All map suggestions must include the gamebanana URL.

  10. Hi Genesis. Thank you for taking the time and appropriate measures to report this unacceptable behaviour in HellsGamers. It’s sad to see such immature and hateful attitudes. Nonetheless I can also attest to his narcissistic and vulgar behaviour and is unacceptable, per HG community guidelines. CS:S What server? 24/7 Crackhouse DM How long ago did this take place? 30 minutes ago, 4am (Amsterdam time) 21-May-2025 Give us a brief description of the incident. [HG] Vince has been seen verbally harassing and throwing slurs about mothers, sisters and girlfriends such as "all the women in the Netherlands are for sale - you're just paying everyday" He became extremely salty and obsessive about me after I mentioned mundane things such as "stop camping on the roof", this seemingly angered him and made him hostile After every kill he felt the need to call me out as a noob - uhm.. Okay? After that we got into multiple discussions, where he constantly felt the need to prove how right he was He demanded that I prove for how long I've been playing CS:S - Obsessively must I say And after all this when I spilled where I'm from, he started throwing around that my girlfriend mother and sister must be prostitutes It got so terribly awkward that even others in the server were calling him a keyboard warrior and speculating why he even is carrying the [HG] tag, as he seemed destructive to the reputation of HellsGamers I never felt personally attacked because of this obsessive nonsense, but this person makes the HellsGamers brand look really bad as a whole since he carries the tag.   17. For some time now a number of players have requested the addition of new crackhouse variations on the server. Why you may ask? On a full server the default map tends to get chaotic at best. Especially with the spawn killing left, right and center. In trying other variations of the crackhouse map we hope to continue to make CHDM interesting, fun, and friendly, in the spirit of the community. As CSS is currently on a steep decline, many of the current playerbase of the game have moved to other games or CS2. We hope by trying new variations it will entice our current base to stick around for the other maps. To see the selected variations, please check out my other thread here.   18. CS:S is still going. It's not as "dead" as some think it is. A dead game is one with no gaming activity. There are still thousands who still play CSS. Before setting up such events to try and promote more activity, certain issues need to be resolved first.
  19. I remember things started slowing down when most players switched to newer games, especially CSGO. A lot of people moved on because of updates, better graphics, and active communities elsewhere. I’ve noticed some friends got really into trading through a csgo skin site, which added a whole new layer to their gaming experience. CSS didn’t keep up with that kind of stuff, so interest just faded out over time.

  25. It has been many years since I played on HG honestly. Though many have other things to do other than gaming nowadays. Especially those who were around in HG's early days. CS Source is riddled with cloned servers now, many of them laggy as a motherbitch. A lot of decent communities no longer exist, except for the 'really successful' ones.
