DeRedPanda Posted June 8, 2014 Share Posted June 8, 2014 Hey guys, when ever I record a demo and try to talk, it picks up everyone else's audio but not mine. It gets easier to channel your focus elsewhere the more you use voice_loopback 1. Once you're comfortable with the amount of delay, you can time yourself accordingly for speaking if hearing yourself throws you off. Plus, it's useful for checking the volume/quality of your microphone or whether it's working at all. This is the only way in general in source games to hear your own voice in recordings as far as I'm aware. I don't believe there's any other command to only hear it in recordings.
