Statements such as the above are not and never have been nor will ever be accepted discourse when writing an apology. This screams that you're trying to justify your actions by putting blame on another. Whether or not I acted in such a way you describe isn't the point, the point is if you want people to take an apology seriously, don't try to justify your actions.
