bean-
Hi all, what do you think about players who speak in French all the time . Won't speak in English when asked, or at least to reduce the amount of chat. Is this a case where mute should be used? beanz Edited November 26, 2014 by beanz
KiLLeR SeNSaTioN™
I hear players speaking with each other in Spanish sometimes. Doesn't really bother me. I ignore them. There's no server rule requiring people to speak English.
bean-
OK - just wondered. Shame they just won't shut up for a few seconds. It's quite annoying, as they are young and have high pitch voices and seem to get excited a lot! It's a case of three people all speaking in French, all at once. Tut
If you mean it the way I understand, you have to understand proper English. (Enough to understand an admin during admin situations and such!) I like French people though c: Edited November 26, 2014 by Tut
bean-
Well, if they did understand English they were reluctant to show it in any way . They eventually left, but is was a painful hour of quite high pitch French chatting. Bit like being in a French primary school playground. beanz
Toast
I've encountered so many non-english speaking players who just wont stfu.. I added a rule 'English only on mic!' We'll see how it goes..
KiLLeR SeNSaTioN™
After you've connected to a server, you can mute them under the Main Menu- Player List so you don't hear them, but it's not a Admin mute. Only you will not hear them. Should only use Admin mute if they are breaking the server rules after being warned first (mic spamming, admin abuse, racist, etc) Edited November 26, 2014 by KiLLeR SeNSaTioNâ„¢

bean-
Thanks all Saw English only rule on mic, in rules last night - nice. Don't mind people occasionally chatting in a language other than English, but yesterday, it was consent, and often 3 at once - must have ben hard for them to understand ... beanz Edited November 27, 2014 by beanz
