Deadlock
I have a radeon. I haven't use Nvidia before, so I don't really have much to say about them. But I haven't had any issues with radeon yet.
Shaman
I have around $250 and am wondering if I should get a nvidia or radeon. Also which one should i get? What is your monitor setup? Currently (In my area and online) Best Buy has the XFX 270X 4Gb model on sale for 219$ or if you are willing to spend another 20 or so above 250$ you could get a Sapphire 280X (I think its 270 right now)

PoorStar_Nutbag
yup I have already built those parts. What graphics card do you have now?
VeN
For 250$ your best choice would be a R9 280X. However you can also save up some more money and get a GTX 970 which will be WAY better than 280X. EDIT: So I searched it up a little more and if you have a rebate card you can get a 290 for 250$ Edited December 21, 2014 by VeN

PoorStar_Nutbag
Dont cheap out on 50$ get the 970 or you will later on wish you had. Really with your other hardware id just save to another couple hundred and get a 980. Really though for csgo any of these cards are overkill
