KiLLeR SeNSaTioN™
curious if there's a rule against someone playing on our game servers with [HG] has their name, or as a tag alone with no player name. (also listed on Steam) STEAM_0:1:14932180 Edited February 7, 2015 by KiLLeR SeNSaTioNâ„¢

DeathShot
Since you asked in general, and not just about a single instance of this rule being broken: Do not wear the -hg- / [HG] / HG | tag unless you are an HG member! Straight from the MOTD. The procedure is warn/kick/ban. HOWEVER! Before moving to kick/ban, be sure to give ample warnings and make sure that they see them. Its also helpful linking them to the website, letting them know that if they want to wear that tag, they need to be in HG. Direct them to www.hellsgamers.com/apply. Most people just put the tag on not knowing that they need to formally join to wear it, so letting them know avoids conflict, and may even get us a new recruit or two Be more lenient if the player wasn't aware, and didn't mean any harm by wearing the tag. No need to go crazy over a small mistake. However, with anyone mocking/disrespecting HeLLsGamers with use of the HG tag, follow warn/kick/ban. PS. A good way to check if someone is a member or not is to take the STEAM ID and simply follow these steps: 1. Go to http://hellsgamers.c...-applications/. 2. In the search bar at the top right of forums (under your profile section and above the status updates), copy and paste the full STEAM ID. 3. Make sure that the "Search Section" is set to "This Forum". 4. Hit the magnifying glass with the full STEAM ID entered and "This Forum" set as the section to be searched. 5. If they are a member, their recruit and/or member application will match and show in the Search Results.
