Making Changes To Crackhouse Dm For Cs:go

Hey I've been making some pretty minor but very effective changes to the map you guys use on your deathmatch server.

I wanted to give the terrorists a little more room to manage so I opened 2 of the windows on the building behind the crackhouse that can be picked off from ct spawn and from ct roof.

I made minor changes to small props around the map to make it possible to counter spawn camping from terrorists onto ct spawn.

 

I also changed the ladder on the back of the crackhouse. In previous versions you were able to directionally climb up the ladder and get onto T roof. I play on the server about 20-25 hours a week, which is quite a bit and that's one thing almost everyone wishes was still there. I removed the block that pushed you away when almost making it to the top, so it's now possible again. With the new terrace open to the windows I have placed, it makes it easy to head up that ladder and take out the terrorists camping in the newly opened windows from the side.

Minor other changes were made to just polish up the already really good map.

This is not finalized, I just wanted to show you guys the general idea.

yeah it's something I am aware of, I actually found that xD (i believe you're talking about running on top of the outer buildings but the link you put didn't work)

When I've finalized the changes and made it look pretty I'll put it on the workshop then link it here and we can work on updating it onto the server.

 

-this exploit is very difficult to pull off, and requires 2 ct and 2 terrorists, so it's all in good fun when it happens.

I've never seen anyone actually pull it off when everyones going gung-ho at each other

Sorry you couldnt see that link, its in a leadership only forum. For explanation purposes "There is a glitch in the map that allows player to boost to the top of the map and run around the exterior portion of the map."

The map looks good, awesome work!

-Removed the glitch that allowed players to get over fence behind the crackhouse.

-Enhanced Lighting to provide a balanced amount of view from the street into garage windows. You should now be able to make out where the ct is from street view properly.

-Added a jump that allows terrorists to shoot from the back of the crackhouse, opposite ct spawn, in an alleyway up onto terrorists roof if it is occupied by ct's heavily.

-Slightly moved some various props around in the terrace.

-Buttons in the garage for the door that have a broken sound for the garage door. (does not open)

 

When the server resets, it defaults back to the cs_crackhouse_remake, people bombard me with "where's the new map?" and "Can you put yours back up?"

So if it could be set to stay on cs_crackhouse_v3 that would probably be best.

I am in love with all the changes you have made, the map is so balanced and looks amazing, the attention to detail you put into the new sewage tunnels makes this map as close to perfect as I think it can be! I'm glad you take the communities input into decisions as well
