After 8 successful years they cancelled the show in 2011 because they wanted to go out while on top, and make movies instead. 24: Live Another Day rebooted for 12 episodes (season 9) in 2014, and there is talk of a season 10 coming in 2016. 24 was nominated for 186 Awards in Total with (36 wins); 113 were Emmy's with 20 wins! Not sure which season is my favorite, maybe 4 or 5; probably 8. they get better. IMDB users rated the show 8.5/10 stars.
