My cable modems pc activity light is going nuts and flashing like mad, then my connection goes to shite. i thought it might be the router so i updated the firmware and saved the changes by using the reset button on the back of the router and turned off the wireless connection in the router. but i still get the same thing happening, it's to the point that i can't even record as demo as proof for bans. any help would be appreciated. Crucible Posted June 6, 2015 Author Share Posted June 6, 2015 Thanks Weeman, I originally bought my modem from another ISP and it is about 5 or so years old and i changed providers and carried it over to the new one, so there is a really good chance you are right, i'm gonna give that a shot.
