komodoh
My rebuttal comes in 2 parts because of quote block limitations. 1. It’s North America’s boomtown. boomtowns aren't a good thing, it implies that its economic development will drop off. Plus NYC's economic development FAR surpasses Toronto's. The number of Toronto's jobs increased about 110,000 in the past 10 years. In the past year alone the number of job's in NYC increased by about 127,800. Sources: https://labor.ny.gov/stats/ http://www.thestar.com/business/2014/04/04/unemployment_rate_drops_in_march_42900_jobs_created.html 2. Toronto just became bigger than Chicago. This isn't comparing to NYC 3. It’s the world’s most multicultural city. This isn't a good thing. In fact, this is pretty much how World War 1 started. (see Austro-Hungarian Empire) 4. Toronto is clean. Like, really clean. (Unlike NYC) New York City is incredibility clean compared to other large cities, I don't know where you got this idea from. 5. It’s safe. Like, really safe. Maybe too safe. Murders per 100,000 in Toronto is about 3.3 while murders in NYC are about 3.9 per 100,000. Or as educated people call it, statistically insignificant to say with confidence that Toronto is safer. A better comparison is they're basically the same. 6. St. Lawrence Market is one of the best in the world. I had to look this up because i had no idea what it was, turns out to just be a large grocery store with different vendors. I suggest looking up NYC fish markets for comparison.
komodoh
7. Peameal (Canadian bacon) sandwiches rock This has nothing to do with either city. 8. Toronto makes better poutine than Montreal. Yeah I said it. This is an opinion based point, also has nothing to do with NYC. 9. Toronto was tolerant before it was trendy. 10. Toronto was tolerant before it was trendy. As i said before, these aren't good things. Also having nothing to do with NYC. Besides, the city that was "tolerant before it was trendy" was San Francisco. 11. The city has secluded islands just minutes away by ferry. Looked these up, and they aren't secluded by any means. Plus, NYC basically is an island if you want to be using islands as a positive point. 12. Toronto has six Chinatowns. This simply isn't true. And if it was, that would mean there is cultural divisions within the city. Besides, 1 Chinatown is plenty, I dont know why you would want more than one. tl;dr. You're wrong, USA > Canada in every way.

60Seconds
Uhh, what the fuck are you talking about? NYC is the greatest city in the world and there are plenty more that are nicer than Toronto. Miami can kick Toronto's ass any day. We have beautiful people, beautiful cars, and a nice climate. It's also multicultural and the architecture destroys any other place. Chicago is much nicer as a city than Toronto as well. Leave your shell dude.
