Windows 10's Hidden Bandwidth Leech

If any of you have all the sudden gotten a lot of lag since installing windows 10 there is a BIG bandwidth leech hidden in the settings that might be the cause. By default it is setup to share updates and other key install files so that when others are downloading updates and stuff the load is not only on Microsoft's servers. So you could be playing and all the sudden get a lag spike because Microsoft is using your bandwidth to upload some update to people all over the net. To turn this off you go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Advanced Options -> Choose how updates are delivered. Once there you can use to turn off the file sharing all together or set it to local net only. I would just turn it off for peace of mind.

Windows ten will also become like office btw, after y`alls 12 free months you will have to pay a yearly subscription.

I thought that was just for business users? hmmm

I can`t seem to find the post but a friend of mine personally contacted some windows helpdesk and was explained that it was free for 12 months, then you would pay a yearly subscription.

On the other hand since I can`t find his post any longer I am now unsure if he realized it was bs or if I`m just being a derp.

So don`t take my word for it :)
