KiLLeR SeNSaTioN™
im looking for a suggestion on a car it has to around 16-22 thousand somewhere any suggestions guys? Well, buying a car is a matter of personal choice, but I can offer you some tips that if you follow them, you will be better off in the long-run. First off, you need to understand that buying a car is a losing investment, has investments go. If you buy a brand new car, as soon as you drive it off the lot, it loses 25-35% of it's value immediately. 1) Buy a 3 yr old used car that has less than 36,000 miles on it instead of buying a new car. 2) Look for a car that is a one-owner, local car, clean carfax (no accidents or title issues) and the carfax has service records on it. 3) Unless you need a truck or 4x4 with a V8, stay away from cars like these that get bad gas mileage. In general you want a car that gets at least 22-24 mpg on the highway. 4) Look for a car model that is reliable. Hondas, Toyotas, and Nissans are at the top of the list. 5) Stay within your budget, including insurance. So many people buy cars that are more expensive than they can afford, because they listen to a salesman use the "its only $12/month more in your payment" sales tactic. Hope this helps. But, if you go the dealer way, don't go to one of those corner private dealerships. Like these ' Those are cars that dealerships like Lexus or Honda get in as trade in's, and if they think its cost too much to fix to sell as a used car they sell cars wholesale to little private dealerships like this. Sources: I'm a Automotive Tech. And used to do used car inspections to see if we should keep them or wholesale them. Anything Japaneses is pretty much good. CarMax is a good place that doesn't try to rip you off and they check cars out pretty thoroughly. If you find a car online you like, and want a 2nd opinion you can send me the link.
