XxwonderbredxX
I have a wired 360 controller connected to my PC, it seems to work, but there isn't a gamepad calibration option on the settings in game like I've seen in tutorials of how to setup your 360 controller so I can drive with it. So, how do I use my controller for it?
SkeletalElite
Go to your start menu and search for "Device Manager" and open it Open up the "Other Devices" Right click on "Unknown Device" and click update driver software Click "Browse my computer for driver software" Click "Let me Pick" Go all the way to the bottom and double click "Xbox 360 Peripherals" Select the most recent "Xbox 360 wireless controller via Play & Charge Kit" (the one with the latest date) Edit: The name of the last step may be different because this is for plugging in a non wired controller to the PC with a USB cable but if it is the names should be self explanatory enough for you to figure it out. Thanks for the reply. I'm actually using the charging cable, it's not wired, I tweaked. But, where would I find the file for the step to let me pick? because I did the automatically find the update online option and once I did that this message came up. Executive Council imasonaz Posted December 15, 2015 Executive Council Share Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Just download the installer pack from Microsoft.com Links help: https://www.microsof...ler-for-windows or https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-wireless-controller-for-windows For mine, I had the wireless USB adapter, and windows refused to play nice with it. I installed these drivers, and set the device to manually pick the correct drivers (there is a lit of ~5 that I had to try each one before it worked...), and finally everything was happy. Best of luck. Edited December 15, 2015 by imasonaz
