FLOKI
Name: Bouncer (Random name, obviously negotiable.) Crafted from: Sledge Hammer + Rubber Tire Effect: Low DMG, Very large Knockback, moderate rate of attack. (Faster ROF than the explosive barrel + sledge hammer.) Effective in cade defence scenarios where a player with the crafted weapon could keep a boss zombie at bey by knocking them back and preventing them from damaging cade. The weapon can be balanced by keeping knockback minimal so bosses don't fly half way across map like with explosive barrel sledge hammer weapon.
Old Bill
cool, but it won't happen for some reasons ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nibblewerfer
It sounds like just a weak sledgehammer, maybe if it hit faster than the sledge it could be good. Also remember that knock back does not work well while the target is below you and on the ground. TheAtrocity
Wait I don't understand....so this is the sledgehammer we're talking about right?
futo
This can possibly be a great idea; however the problem is: if the hammer doesn't send the zombies flying a great distance, then what makes this weapon different from the existing sledgehammer? So when we sum up the fact that 1)there are possibilities of people stealing when you craft, and 2)there are not much differences from an ordinary sledgehammer, why bother? The opportunity cost of running around finding a quiet corner(which make result in zombie surprise butt sex), and make the not-so-special hammer is just too high to be justifiable. You can do better by hauling props for the mercia cade or help spawn camping in the first two waves mate. Criticism is over and it is time for suggestions. If you were to make this weapon more special (as the problem stated previously), I would suggest making the swing speed very damn slow and the knockback very high. Movement speed should be reduced like or beyond mega masher, to prevent people from going hammer rampage; it is due to the fact that some maps have dozens of tires to use. So this is a wave 7 tier weapon right? But in all honesty I have no idea what role this weapon is supposed to fulfill.

Great lets actually make this wave 7 weapon so we achieved nothing congrats!
Dreamy
The idea isn't bad. But as it was stated, it needs to be a bit different to the sledge hammer otherwise I don't see the point.

Nibblewerfer
How bout knockdown on hitting the head, that could make it unique.
BansheeShriek
It seems like a cool idea, but it doesn't seem likely to make it very far.
Richy
Sounds a bit op to me, especially if the knockback is too high. It would make sieging cades a lot harder for bosses and most normal zombies. The shovel and megamasher already have a reasonable amount of knock back to it at any rate imo. Dukakis
i think i'm okay with the sledge hammers we have now. If we make a new sledge hammer to make it harder for zombies to break the cade, then something would have to be balanced for humans like weaker props so zombies have an easier time breaking through the cade. if we make it unbalanced for the zombies team then no one would want to be a zombie and this would make the game not fun.
