Motherboard Overheating

If you do not think the issue is as Short is saying, if you have a removable heatsink for your north/southbridges (plastic clips) you could CAREFULLY remove the heatsinks and try adding a very small amount of thermal paste, literally smaller than a pea. This would help with dispersing heat from those chips at least. It is hard to say 100% what would be causing this as simply saying the motherboard temperature sensor is reading high could mean _anywhere_ on the motherboard is getting warm (the sensor could be anywhere).

Easier, silly things to check: direction of airflow, usually front to back is best. All of your fans are functioning, including any in your PSU. Look into better fans, since your current ones aren't working, that is higher CFM. The cheap ones usually have really terrible air movement, while more expensive ones will move more air by either running at higher RPMs or a better fanblade design.

Just my 2¢
